Noah Van Zandt
CPA, ABV, CFE | Manager
Noah is a Manager at FAZ Forensics, where he specializes in forensic accounting, business valuations, and litigation support. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). His designations were issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Noah has been involved in numerous forensic accounting and litigation support engagements, working on both the Plaintiff and Defense side. These engagements have included investigations of employee theft, SBA loan (PPP and EIDL) tracing, calculations of economic damages and lost profits, as well as forensic tracing projects.
In addition to his forensic and valuation work, Noah also plays an active role in FAZ Forensics’ Prevailing Wage Compliance and CPA Certification practice. He assists in providing independent CPA verification of payroll compliance for government-funded and incentive-backed construction projects—ensuring contractors and subcontractors properly classify workers, pay applicable wage and fringe benefit rates, and maintain accurate certified payroll records. His work supports project owners, developers, and contractors in meeting complex reporting and documentation requirements tied to public funding, renewable energy incentives, and infrastructure investment programs. Noah’s experience includes NYSERDA Independent CPA certifications.
Noah has also taken part in a wide variety of valuation engagements, including valuations for division of assets related to matrimonial dissolutions, shareholder buyouts, federal gift and estate tax return filings, due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions, and exit planning consulting.
As a Saratoga Springs native, Noah is currently based in Washington, D.C. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and golf, as well as watching professional soccer and collegiate basketball. Noah is also the treasurer of DC KinCare Alliance, a DC based non-profit that provides legal services for relative caregivers who raise DC’s most vulnerable and at-risk children whose parents are not able to care for them. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The State University of New York at Geneseo, where he also played varsity soccer.
