The Analyst Role:

FAZ Forensics is seeking an Analyst to join their team in Boston, MA. In this position the team member will perform business valuations, forensics accounting, financial analyses, document review and industry research. Some travel may be required for work assignments.

In this role, the candidate will:

• Perform financial analysis, document review and research
• Prepare computations and reports
• Draft correspondence and internal documents for review by supervisors and partners
• Gather data from client records to develop relevant facts
• Begin to prepare forensic accounting and valuation analyses, computations, and reports
• Begin to get involved in business and community organizations by attending events and networking opportunities

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related degree
• Master’s Degree is a plus, but not a requirement
• Obtained a CPA license or has the plans to achieve one
• Understanding of business and personal tax returns, and financial statements
• Experience with performance calculations
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
