Sophia Hourihan

Sophia is a Supervisor with FAZ Forensics, where she specializes in business interruption and lost earnings claims. She is designated with the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) designation through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Prior to joining FAZ Forensics, Sophia served as an Audit Associate at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), and as a Senior Forensic Accountant at Matson Driscoll and Damico (MDD). This professional work experience has equipped her with an analytical mindset and valuable client-facing experience, which will be a major asset to FAZ.
Sophia has completed her bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics and her master’s degree in Forensic Accounting; both obtained at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In her free time, Sophia enjoys an active lifestyle skiing, hiking, and doing CrossFit. She also loves to travel and spend time with her family, friends, and puppy!
